27th & 28th Oct 07	Charity Jailbreak Are you up for the challenge? 24 Hours! No money! No transport! How far could you get! We are delighted to announce that we are donating two Open Water Courses as first price in the Charity Jailbreak for the Essex Autistic Society. This event is a joint venture between The Essex Autistic Society, Diabetes UK, Essex Air Ambulance and Open Road. Your sponsorship could help all four charities. 20 July 2007	Basildon Festival Come and visit us at the Basildon Festival. We will have information on all courses and services available, special offers on courses booked during the two day Festival, a prize draw and much more. The Festival will again be held at Gloucester Park North in the centre of Basildon. With car parking for five thousand cars, excellent public transport links and based on numbers at last year’s Festival, we estimate that there will be over 30 thousand visitors. Attractions include top line bands, bouncy castles, BBQ, information stands, sideshows, theatre performance, community activities, games, and lots more. Opening times are from 11.00am to 5.00pm and entry is Free.
19 May 2007	Basildon United Football Club We are extremely proud to announce that we are now the official sponsors for our local football team Basildon United. We bought the team a new home and away strip sporting our logo. We also have a special offer running in the football programmes each issue. Support your local team, pop down and see them play. 11 Aug 2006	Sports and Leisure Exhibition Unfortunately, the whole exhibition has been cancelled due to the shopping centre management not allowing two exhibitors to participate, namely paintballing and martial arts, which then made it impossible for the exhibition to proceed.
31st Jul 2006	5 Star IDC Centre We are proud to announce that with effect from 31st July 2006, Wrecks and Reefs Diving is now a PADI 5 Start IDC Centre. A PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center (5 Star IDC) is a dive center that not only meets all 5 Star Dive Center standards, but also offers PADI Instructor-level training. A PADI 5 Star IDC offers dive consumers programs to fulfill their educational goals from entry-level training up through instructor-level certifications. Having a PADI Course Director on staff indicates the 5 Star IDC's commitment to offering instructor development programs and continuing education opportunities to dive professionals. By offering PADI Instructor-level training, a PADI 5 Star IDC takes on the responsibility of developing PADI Instructors.
12th Jul 2006	Sports and Leisure Exhibition The Sports and Leisure Exhibition at the Eastgate Shopping Centre has been postponed until Monday 14th August. The exhibition will run for seven days finishing on 20th August. We look forward to seeing you there.
23rd Jun 2006	Charity Dive Event The total amount raised during our Underwater Olympics was £1,650.50. Thank you so much to everyone involved.
14th Jun 2006	Sports and Leisure Exhibition We are proud to announce that we will be exhibiting at the Sports and Leisure Exhibition in the Eastgate Shopping Centre, Basildon from 17th to 23rd July. We will have special exhibition promotions running so don't forget to pop along and say hello and pick up a bargin.
28th May 2006	Charity Dive Event I am still collecting in the sponsorship money but it looks like we may have collected somewhere in the region of £1,500 for St. Luke's. As soon as I have accurate figures I will let you know. Thanks again to everyone who helped us.
9th May 2006	Charity Dive Event A massive thank you to Jonathan Ellis, Richard Folkes, Paul Turner, David Simms, David Waterfield and Terry Lock for giving up some of their free time to take part in our Underwater Olympics. Thanks also to everyone who collected a sponsorship form form us to raise funds. As soon as the money comes in I will announce how much we have raised.

5 Apr 2006	Charity Dive Update We have a new date for the Underwater Olympics in aid of St. Luke's Hospice. The event has been brought forward to the 7th May, 2006.
31 Mar 2006	HMS Scylla We are now taking bookings for a weekend dive trip to Plymouth for dives on the recently sunk HMS Scylla. For further information on this trip and others, please click here
10 Mar 2006	Charity Dive We plan to hold an underwater Olympics at our swimming pool to raise funds for St. Luke's Hospice some time in May 2006. Some of the games will include four man/woman Relay, Giant Connect 4 tournament, Quoits and Torpedo darts.
