Dive in 2 PembrokeshireThe island around us contains such diversity from the Lucy (you have to do this one before you hang up your fins), the North Wall (sheer drop to 42 metres – Skomer Island). Tony’s Red Spires (down to 30 metres) or the South slope at 32 metres – or even Jo’s Peaks, a really impressive reef system (it’s the place the Cray’s meet on Skokholm) Gateholm the drift Bang your gone!!! We have plenty of wrecks – about 500 at the last count. There’s the Dakotion – 600 feet long at 20 metres, a large freighter Langton Grange, the pottery ship only diveable 4 times a year, if we are lucky. There are a few landing craft; we are looking at one at the moment with a Sherman Tank on the back. We have many other sites Stack Rocks, Hen & Chicks, Octopus reef, a new one for 2004, Danis Drop Off to name but a few. Do ask if you want anything special to suit your group. Also Brian’s special “The Small’s” lighthouse 18.27 miles from land. Clear water, swim with the seals, swim through shoals of fish, drop off’s, gullies and if we have the right conditions go for it, Basking Sharks, Minke Whales and 250 Dolphins a year. The IslandsSkomer - A marine Nature Reserve with a wide range of sites including Sea Fan Garden, the North Wall, the Wreck of the Lucy and seals galore. Skokholm – This is a unique dive site with Jo’s Peak and Tony’s Red Spires. Find the rare Northern Sea Fans, the gulleys drop off and also a sea cave. Grassholm – You will find 2 wrecks off this remote island. The current is constant here. Swim with the seals below one of the largest offshore Gannet colonies in the UK. Gateholm – Drift along admiring the Sponge’s, Ross Coral, Cray Fish, Lobster and Edible Crabs. The Smalls – These islands are the farthest offshore locally and are 18.27 miles from land. Play with the seals, basking shark, porpoise and dolphins. There are wrecks, a reef system and a drop off into the abyss. This is a favourite feeding site of Grassholm’s Gannets. The Hats & Barrels – Rarely dived and only shows at certain states of the tide, this is really a specialist site. Find the Bell, the Luminence and many other sites of interest. New wreck virtually un-dived 12.42 metres. Ramsey – This north Pembrokeshire Island is bounded by the Bishop and Clerks Islands is home to the infamous Bitches Reef and also Bell Rock which is famous for the wreck of the Langton Grange, another wreck lies on the other side of the reef.
