Koh RokKoh Rok, 25 kilometres south of Koh Ha are two sister-islands separated by a narrow channel about 15 metres deep. These islands have some of the prettiest beaches in Thailand and are devoid of inhabitants. The diving here is relatively shallow. The bottom is composed of mostly hard sheet, table and staghorn corals, with small areas of soft Marigold Corals in the depths and overhangs. Black Tip Sharks patrol the reef shallows and are especially active at dusk and dawn. There are frequent sightings of Hawksbill Turtles. Koh Rok Reef Basics: Fringing hard coral reef
