Christmas Point

Similan Island No.9 - Koh Bangru

One of the most dramatic dives in the Similan Islands, this dive begins at 24m to the southwest with a series of large arches and the best swim-throughs in the Similan Islands. Keep your eyes open for surprisingly large jacks that hide in these passageways.

The walls are highlighted by radiant soft corals and the sea fans are as large as they are anywhere. Encounters with schools of Bluefin Trevally feeding on fusiliers are common here.

There's also a great chance to catch sight of Whitetip Sharks roaming in the deeper passages and sand plains to the south west.
