King Cruiser Wreck

King Cruiser used to run as a passenger ferry between Phi-Phi Islands and Phuket. In 1997 the ferry struck Anemone Reef and sank nearby. No lives were lost and now the wreck remains as a new underwater attraction.

Big schools of Trevally, Mackerel and Yellowtail Barracuda have already made their home here, together with huge Lionfish and rabbitfish.

This wreck is 85 metres by 25 metres, and has four decks with large passages and windows. This makes it a great site to practice wreck penetration techniques. The wreck is resting in an upright position on 32 metres, with the Captain's cabin the shallowest area at 12 metres. This, together with the frequent strong currents and low season rough seas, makes the diving here unsuitable for beginners.
