Anemone Reef

Hin Jom, meaning submerged rock, derives its English name from the profusion of green Magnificent Anemone's that cover this pinnacle. Anemonefish and Clownfish use the anemone's for protection and provide this Phuket scuba diving site with all the colours you could wish for.

Anemone Reef is also a haven for snappers, groupers, shrimps and Porcelain Crabs. As it lies very close to Shark Point Marine Sanctuary, there's also a good chance of seeing Leopard Sharks here too. Conditions can be adverse, which makes this dive site suitable for intermediate level divers only.
