Malapascua's Thresher Shark Divers

Lighthouse   10m / 35ft

MandarinfishWe dive Lighthouse in the late afternoon so that we can catch the rare mandarin fish and seahorses, which are almost guaranteed. Dusk is a time most people rarely dive. However, it is one of the best times to observe marine life because of the increased feeding and mating activity. Come at full moon to experience Thresher Diver's famous "Randy Mandy" dive! There are few places in the world where you can see mandarin fish mating. Come and see the exotic mating dance of the female and her adoring males. At full moon we also see coral spawning at Lighthouse. We regularly see scribbled and banded pipefish, juvenile sweetlips, yellow -tailed barracuda, banded sea snakes, octopus, hermit crabs, and many varieties of shrimp. Also near this sight is a World War II wreck.
