Bianca C

Depth 90 - 120ft

The Bianca C was a 600ft cruise ship which, in 1961, caught fire whilst anchored off St George’s, fortunately, all the passengers and crew but two were successfully rescued, the ship finally sank in 160 feet of water.

The top deck of the ship is at around 100 feet with the swimming pool at 130 feet. Although it is no longer safe to penetrate the Bianca C there is still plenty to see around the decks with hydroids and black soft and hard corals and schools of jacks and barracuda.

There can be strong tidal currents around the wreck, which make this an advanced deep dive.

Dive Sites

For all these dive sites, we recommend you gain plenty of local knowledge before diving and where possible dive with experienced divers who are very familiar with the sites. This is definitely the best way to enjoy a safe and interesting dives.
