Prerequisites for the DAN Instructor Qualification Course

To enroll in the DAN Instructor Qualification Course, the Instructor Candidate must:-

• Be a certified and active scuba diving Instructor
• Be current in every DAN Provider course the candidate plans to teach
• Have current training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Have documentation of first aid training
• Be a current DAN Member

Current training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and in the DAN Training Programmes means that the Instructor Candidate has successfully completed the programmes within the last 24 months.

Note: Divemaster or Assistant Instructors from any recognized dive training agency, who are also CPR Instructors, are eligible to attend the DAN Instructor Qualification Course (IQC) and be certified as DAN Instructors - teaching all of DAN's courses at the Provider level if all other prerequisites are met.

• Instructor courses are £75 (plus £60 for materials) each course.
